Teddy Bear for Baby

Today I participated in the Tic Tac Toe Challenge. I selected the right diagonal row of: accent, embossing, and In Color Ink.

I decided to make a card for a new baby with the Baby Bear stamp set. I love the triple stamp that is used to make the image of the bear. My bottom layer is Crumb Cake, my middle layer is Early Espresso (stamped off), and my top layer is Early Espresso. I love the In Color Bitty Bows; it provides the perfect accent for the bear!

I love the Flower Patch stamp set and was so sad to see it retire. The large flower image always made me think of fireworks so I thought it was a perfect image to be the star on a 4th of July card. For the smaller flower, I stamped the flower in Versa Mark on the Bashful Blue cardstock. In addition to using some Poppy Parade to stamp the inside of the small flower, I also punched out a small circle in Poppy Parade, adhered it to the center of the flower, and added some Crystal Effects to give it some shine and dimension. I masked the word “you” from the sentiment so it features “Celebrate” instead of “Celebrate You”.
