Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team created “Birthday Bonanza” projects to inspire you to make for all of your family and friends. We hope you enjoy and are inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments because we all love hearing from you! At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
For today’s card, I am all about the ice cream! While most people think of cake for birthday celebrations, I’ve always been equally excited for a scoop of ice cream on the side of the cake. I have a bit of a sweet tooth and while I enjoy most desserts, ice cream is one of my favorites and I think it makes for a fun and colorful birthday card.
I love that the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set has a great Happy Birthday stamp with it. I heat embossed this for today’s card.
The Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper is so fun and colorful. I love the piece that resembles the texture of an ice cream cone. The striped DSP gave me inspiration for my scoops of ice cream.
I ran my cardstock through the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder before using the punch to cut out the scoops of ice cream. I love the look of a hand-scooped serving of ice cream. I got the idea from it from a card I saw posted online but can’t find the original post to give credit for the idea. If you know who originally posted the idea, please let me know so I can give them credit!
More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created! Mark your calendars for our next blog hop on March 10th when our theme will be “Cute Critters” where the design team will be sharing projects that will feature critters of all sorts to inspire you. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft room.
